With the aim of making the state green – pollution free and making the laborers self-reliant in transport, the state government has launched the “Go-Green Yojana”, GO GREEN India under which special financial assistance will be given to the organized and construction sector laborers on the purchase of electric two-wheelers. Under this scheme, a subsidy will be given on the purchase of battery-operated two-wheelers by organized sector and construction workers. Under this, a subsidy of 30 percent to 50 percent or Rs.30,000 will be given on the purchase of an electric two-wheeler. GO GREEN YOJANA 2023.

Also, subsidies will be given in RTO tax and road tax. The portal www.gogreenglwb.gujarat.gov.in was launched by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel so that laborers can apply online to get this subsidy.
